Sequential Circuits Pro-One

I was at a garage sale yesterday and I found a sequential circuits Pro-One 
synthesizer, in the box for five dollars. I did not know much about it, but I 
bought it anyway. I took it home and it seems to be working perfectly, can 
anyone tell me anything about this synth? The volume knob is a bit crackly, 
and i was wondering if De-Oxit would fix that, or not. Could anyone tell me?

I would really appreciate any information about this synth. It didn't come 
with a manual, and I do not understand how to operate the modulation section.
