White LEDs

I've been seeing these in flashlights, etc and they are DAMN Bright!
Bought a couple at the surplus store and was blown away. The LED was
still glowing with a 100K resistor to 15Vdc and at 20 mA it was
blinding. Companies are making arrays of these to replace street lights!

These would make nice little console lamps on a mini gooseneck. Too
bright and a bit expensive for indicator use though...but you could
filter these with a gel and get ANY color!
