Power Supplies Given to Me

I made an extended 'pi' section filter for use on a computer SMPS once.. I
had 3 big toroidal inductors in series - they were about 30-40mm cores full
of windings, nothing too tricky, just some toroids I found somewhere, from
the junction of the toroids went a really big cap to gnd something big like
3300uf, higher?, and also a 100nf ceramic cap across the big cap. - so there
were 2 of these cap assy's used between the 3 toroids. This seemed to kill
off all the power supply noise, but it was running a transmitter, not an
audio cct, but the principle should still work fine..
Cheers,
Dan
