CV control of volume pots?

Anyone have any suggestions about how one would go about makeing a trigger 
pulse from say a roland TR-606 or equivilant control the volume on say a 
TR-606 or other instrument with individual volume pots?  And Im still 
looking for information about adding CV ins and outs on instruments on the 
606, any suggestion for any of the above would be much appreciated.
