Favorite quad op-amps for synth design?

Hello


I wanted to ask what's about with the NE5534?

Because I'm in the designing stage of my own litte studio mixer, because
I haven't the money right now for a fine Mackie mixer.

So is the NE5534 good for this application, f.e. the mic input stages,
the equalizer and so on?
Or is the LM883/LM837 which someone else in this discussion recently
mentioned a better choice?
