Favorite quad op-amps for synth design?

Now here's a thing. At Soundcraft we bought so many TL072s, they were
cheaper then the TL071. And you could buy four TL072 for every one
TL074. Needless to say, all the bigger Soundcraft desks had TL072 and
5532... and not a lot else. Semi-discrete opamps for the mic amps.

I don't know what they do nowadays... its all SMD now and plastic pots.
