Cheap scope for new DIY'ers

My main scope is a Tek 7704...I just wish I had the cable for the logic 
analyzer plugin and some idea how to use it. Luckily, I can calibrate the 
scope, since I happened to find both the owners manual and the service manual 
while dumpster diving some time ago.. I also have a Velleman handheld scope, 
which is a great little piece of gear, especially for audio stuff, since it's 
all low frequency.
