Alternate for BC550C?

Hi everyone,

I was admiring the Interpolating Scanner that Juergen Haible has on his
JH-4 page (http://www.synthfool.com/diy/hj_vcfsc.gif), and I decided I'd
like to build one of my own and see what it can do.  My only problem is
that BC550C transistors seem a bit hard to come by in North America, unless
I missed something everywhere I looked.  Could anyone suggest a suitable
alternative, please? Thanks.
