Hey folks..
Check out www.partminer.com From there you can download a search engine
which checks around various suppliers online for a part no that you type
in.. suppliers and the prices show up, most of your usual digi, analog chips
are there, probably wont show for weirdo synth custom chips, but as an added
bonus, often a match for the part also comes with a downloadable .pdf data
sheet... just the thing for all those 'general' data reqmts ie analog
switch, op amp, u/p & support chips etc..
