Here's a circuit that might do what is required - redrawn from Elektor
magazine, June 1978. The article indicates that if the input square is
gated on/off, the output sawtooth will not have a rectangular envelope
(it will have a pseudo-ADSR envelope) - but for a continuous constant
amplitude square wave input the circuit outputs a continuous constant
amplitude sawtooth, over a 10 Hz to 20 Khz range (disclaimer - I haven't
tried this circuit). MI
