OT: diy effects (analogue)

GE tubes essential characteristics is fairly comprehensive and available as 
a reprint, I think antique electronic supply might have it.. Also, maybe you 
could find a copy of RCA receiving tubes manual somewhere maybe it's 
reprinted, or copies turn up frequently on ebay..
Personally, I like the RCA book better..It doesn't list as many tubes but 
more detail on each one [you'd probably find it hard to get most of the ones 
it doesn't list anyway...]
