Oh, this reminds me... it also makes it much easier to follow some of the
in depth discussions that some of us nut heads ingage in relating to filters,
transistors etc.
I do recommend (just like TomG did) the book The Art of Electronics by Horowitz
and Hill (you can find the full details on my webpage). This book is very good
to connect the ends between practice and theory. It may not say all about how
to specifically build a synthesizer, but it will tell alot of things relating
to the whole issue. People over here will be able to point you to schematics
and texts and if any trouble arises you can allways pop a question or two.
