Any Paia 9700 experience?

I'd just like to point out that John's work
has progressed a great deal since the 2700.
The 9700 is built with soldermasked, silkscreened
double sided boards. The controls are exponential and
not linear, and the front panels are a sturdy 1/8" thick.
I ordered the whole set to use as and expander for the
Wiard modules. I have built the MIDI-CV, Filter and VCA.
John has managed to squeeze a lot of functionality
into a small unit at a very good price.

For the VCA (lots of resistors)
Sort components in bag - 1/2 hour
Stuff board - 1 hour
Solder board 1/2 hour
Wire front panel - 1/2 hour
Connect front panel to board - 1 1/2 hours

I do this a lot, your mileage may vary.
