We really ought to assemble a list with preferred opamps for different applications.
I just bought several different types that were specified for my Oakley Mididac.
But they wary a lot in price, and which is good for what? You need to find a balance between performance and cost.
I'd like to know the most cost effective type when you want:

* low offset and drift

* high speed

* low noise

* single or double

* and maybe something else?

It would be good if you can standardize on as few types as possible. Buying 10, 25 or more at once is always so much cheaper.
