Subject: Three is better than two...
Hi all,
After visting someone with a rather nice monosynth with three VCOs, I
had to build myself another VCO to go with my other two in my modular.
All my other synths I have built have just the two per voice. But with
three... the sound is really, er, and I thought I would never say this,
fat! Yes, fat, now I know what it really means. And no more bass lines
disappearing into nothing either, which is what you get with two VCOs
and a small amount of detune. (Those of you with my CD can hear this on
the track 'Drive' as the deep bass phases into nothing several times)
Now, I'll have to build some more VCOs... I think six should do the
trick quite nicely. :-)
