I have a step up from that which is the Proteus 2000. It has the use of
"virtual" patch cords which is kind of nice and a step closer to analog from
the digital domain. It has around 20 filters that sound good (I have gotten
some really nice filter sweeps for strings and "analog" sounding leads among
other things.) Another good thing about it is that it is cheap (I picked
mine up for $730US new at guitar center.)
