Totally OT: Yokels Run Amok on Local Highway

Bad drivers and bad roads are one thing: Criminals that follow you in a
group of about 5 ppl in a car and whip out baseball bats and pipes when you
pull over or try to intentionally use their car to ram you or run you off
the road to commit homocide are murderers looking for a victim. One run in
with these "good ol boys lookin to have sum fun" has swayed me from my usual
anti-violence posture.

I now drive with a gun and will continue to do so and have it ready, loaded,
available, and gleefully so. I also carry on my person at any given time at
least 2 knives, two steel-shafted writing instruments and pepper spray.
Getting beat down is just not as fun or glamourous as it once was back in
the 70s and 80s.. They tend to kill you, whether intentionally or not.. Not
to mention here in the states treatment for said beat-down is kinda pricey,
if you live through it, that is.
