Jeez... I just hate hearing these stories. "I found a Jupiter 8 at a
yard sale for $10". "I found a Vox AC-30 in the local pawn shop for
$50". :-)

Pawn shops in Baltimore charge for *everything* that looks old as if
it were some sacred relic. I looked in the window of one near me once
and saw in the back what could have been a 909 and a 303 so I went
in. It was a tr606 and a 707 and they were asking, I kid you not, $800
apiece for each. Or how about a truly beat DX-7 for $650... or a
hammered Dunlop Cry Baby for $70? :-)
