i dont' think $350 for a cs05 is unreasonable; in today's market, $2K for
a 2600 (with keyboard, in 95-100% working order, etc) isn't either. i have
sold both units from my collection at those prices within the past two
years on the analog heaven list (the arp was a bit less, tho).

most, if not all, midi->cv converters will accomodate v/hz machines. i highly
recommend the encore electronics "expressionist" (encoreelectronics.com):
8 channels of cv/gate, v/oct or v/hz per channel, 3 lfos, poly mode, etc.
the paia m2cv8 kit has eight outputs and several modes; for v/hz operation you

need to order a separate pcb to install on the main board. i use both units:
the encore takes care of seven moog monos (on that side of the studio) whilst
the paia covers the serge modular (on this side of the studio). at about
$80 for the kit, perhaps the paia is the best bang for the buck.
