I think that's high IMHO. But prices vary by locality. I think for less
than $400 you should be able to get a CS-15. Don't forget the CS series
(like all Yamaha with CVs I think) is not one-volt-per-octave. The are
volt/Hz like Korg. I only mention this because you said something about
MIDI to CV like you might have some other gear you would be controlling
with it.

Greetings,
I was wondering if $400 was a good price for one of these. Only a few
scratchy pots and a couple of minor surface scratches on the instrument.
Everything works and it even comes with the manual. I thinking I should
buy it because I like the S&H and because it has trigger ins/outs, so it
would help me out because I don't have a MIDI to CV converter yet, and
figured this would be even better to have.
What do you think? Is this a reasonable price? TIA
