I bought a Fluke 89 IV this year and really like it. It measures
voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, temperature and frequency,
has a 5 digit display and a smaller secondary display, will
automatically log readings, etc. I had been holding off buying a "good"
meter because of the expense, but when I finally got one I wished I had
done it sooner. It does everything needed and I imagine I will still be
using it 30 years from now.
