OT: Roland system 100 sequencer

Sorry for the post to this list regarding this. I'd post to analog heaven, 
but they're too busy talking about analog modeling synths.
Does anyone have this sequencer? How does it rate compared to other 
sequencers? Pros? Cons?
On the DIY mode: Has anyone tried interfacing it with an MOTM system? When I 
got my Roland 180 Keyboard, I had to perform some mods to lower the gate and 
trigger output to a usable level.
