In particular, I need to know what sort of length each clock
>pulse should be.
the clock pulse in din sync is nominally spec'd to be 50%. I have not seen
any listing for things like tr808, 606, 303 etc as to what permissible duty
cycles are. The internal processor clock on these machines is quite slow, and
I have noted though that these machines will skip beats if clocked too fast
[dont really know how fast too fast actually is, maybe 1000bpm? I've
observed the skipping tho.]
I dont think that duty cycle would matter too much within reason, say maybe
15 - 85 % duty cycle should be ok, although this may be reduced at high
tempo.
cheers,
Dan
