Flux removal question

Hi Blandon,
Although it's hard to say about your capacitors I suspect they may be
okay. They are encased in a plastic jacket so the solvent would have to
eat through that first.
After defluxing, you might try using a can of compressed air to blow out
any liquid around jacks, pots, underneath IC's, etc.
Also, I have been using Kester "No Clean" solder for a while now and
like it. It does leave a bit of residue so the result doesn't look
quite as clean as with a defluxed board, but I like not having to do the
defluxing step.
