I think that there is no replacement for this µa726, those components with
an internal
heating circuit doesn't exist anymore!

Some years ago, I had the same problem. I used then a normal dual transistor
(a 2N2... something, I forgot to wrote it down...)and added a cooling plate
(star-form).
It seems to work just fine!
