"The PIPE" - 10 notch Phaser

Does anyone have any info on the CFR Associates "The PIPE"? This was a 
kit produced by CFR Associates in the late 70's, apparently designed by 
Denis Colin (of ARP fame). (There is an ad for it in one of the old ARP 
newsletters now up on Kevin Lightner's site). I suspect it is a 20-stage 
version of the ARP Quadra phaser. Trine Corp. marketed a phaser/flanger 
by the same name. Info on either of these would be much appreciated. I 
have a bunch of old CFR Associates "Technotes" if anyone wants to trade.
