Exponential ADC

All,

Thanks to Dave and Tony...
  As far as I can tell there are NO exponential ADCs out there (yes I did
mean ADC) but I need a QUICK ADC so using a DAC and extra bits is not quite
enough.

  Ive figured a way of generateing a HUGE lookup table and will blow this
onto a couple of eproms (or stick it in a small uC) and do it this way,
thanks for all your help.
