Why not buy one of the Concussor modules, I forget the URL now, but they do
a nice sound 808 bass drum, they also do 909 BD and snares and stuff..
Its trigerable from a 5v trigger, but getting a 5v trigger pulse from a 505
shoudlnt be too much hassle, I mean its got a CPU in so theres a trigger in
there somewhere.

I dont think you will easily be able to build a thing for the 505. Unless
you build an external module and find the trigger pulse in the 505 to drive
it.
