It makes sense to drive a poly800 from a mono synth cause its not real poly.
The osc. are 4 or 8 voice poly, the filter is mono.
Only one slight complication, the Poly800 is a midi only synth, no CV.
The osc are DCO so there may be no easy way to add CV.
The DCF/VCF is analoge, adding a audio input should be no problem.
