can you reccomend a solder station?

One thing maybe to watch out for with a magnetic type 
heat control iron like a WTCP is noise spikes 
when they switch. Might not want to record anything 
critical with the iron turned on.  I've noticed quite a 
few times that an o-scope will trigger the same time I 
hear the iron click.

I have 2 of these that I got by dumpster diving. 
Not a thing wrong with them.
I'm guessing they threw them away because 
they don't have a control knob. 
'Ya just gotta have a knob these days.'
