For those of you interested in obtaining the photocopied Chamberlin book,
here's
some current info (I think the $587 price from jdec at mindspring.com is a
typo! It
should be $58 if I remember correctly):

TO: Hans.Frederickson at Eng.Sun.COM
SUBJ: Book, Musical Applications of Microprocessors

Hi. You can still order the book for $30 plus shipping.
Book rate is $5.00 and Priority Mail is $10.00 in the US.

For payment, a check in dollars drawn on a US bank is fine. Make the
check out to: J.S. Allen. The mailing address is:
                     HAL CHAMBERLIN
                     P.O. Box 31
                     Waltham, MA 02454

Please write "BOOK ORDER" on the outside of the envelope so Mr. Allen
will know what to do with it.

As for publicizing on music-dsp, there have been messages about it in the
past but I think the last one was about 18 months ago. Feel free to update
it according to the above. I made several copies before leaving.

Also there is a guy who managed to hoard some of the second printing while
it
was still in print. Although his price is higher ($587 including shipping),
it is a conventionally bound book rather than looseleaf Xerox. His e-mail
address is: jdec at mindspring.com .
