Making a circuit to match is simple. Knowing what parameter to match is not
simple. Do you match diodes for V/I curves, impedance vs. current, of other?

The Motorola division that made the MAD1108 is now called "ON
Semiconductor"
The division was "divested". I think that maybe once ON gets some
distributor
agreements we might see the MAD back.
MAYBE someone needs to make a board for a CHEAP ASS component matcher.
