 Thanks for the help, I now have a copy of the article.

 a few people have said the Paia version was noisy... looking at the article
it suggests useing a 301 or 748 opamp, these arent the quietest in the
world.
I shall try with a TL071/2/4.

  I'll build it as a module for my modular first and test it before putting
it
in my polysynth design.
