Buchla 217 Touch Control Strip

Hello all,

Occasionally there's been discussion about how to make a bender strip, like
the one on the Yamaha CS80 or on some of the Moogs (Liberation?). I came
across some schematics for the Buchla 217 touchkeyboard. It has a "bender"
strip (2 actually) that are made of the same stuff the keyboard pads are -
printed circuit board! Both strips are 8 small angular sections, and can
generate " Voltage proportional to lateral position", as well as pressure CV
and Gate output. This seems like a simple solution to the problem of not
being able to come up with high tech resistive foam I've posted the
schematics and catalog page on my Touchkeyboard page:

The circuitry's a little odd to me, but I'm guessing with a little work it
could be translated into something clonable.
