Your iron is DEFINITELY not hot enough.. hehehe.. no wonder..
you just ball up a bunch of solder with what you are doing! ;)
I would say anything above 620 and you should be okay.. But try various
settings till you get the one that suits you.
I have used multicore noclean for 2 years and never had probs..
