Don't know if you have the same schematic as me...but it looks like you want to
pull the cap (C33) to +12 volts, either by forcing a reset, or using a fet.
Maybe JH or Tony (who makes the 303 clone) could add more info. Q25,26 and 27
make the reset circuit, they form sort of a triac crowbar... once triggered they
conduct until current flow stops. You might fool around in that area. I'd try
the fet myself...
