To convert a bike to a musical instrument, it's way easier to put a playing card
so the spokes flip the end of it.
Or use analog hall effect sensors (very cheap) to pick up from the steel spokes
(you need a magnet to arrange a field around the sensor). And while you are
at it,
put Analog Devices acelerometers in your socks and everywhere else!
Especially in the top hat to make a 'whoop' noise as you doff it.. doesn't
EVERYONE whar a top hat on an exercise bicycle?
