Hi Chris and all,

Chris's project does indeed look very impressive.

However, I will add my grievance against PCB mounted vertical pots. When
something goes wrong you have un-screw every single pot nut to get at
the pcb. I think it may be better to fit the PCB on upside down, with
only the pots on the side that faces the front panel. For double sided
boards you can also desolder and replace components without removing the
panel from the PCB. (You need too use solder wick to stop the molten
solder falling down onto the panel.)

Regards,

Tony Allgood... who has spent too long removing every nut from a 24-4-2
mixing desk built on a single PCB.
