Just got my first SSM synth a Seil DK-600. The battery had leaked so I cut it off the board and cleaned the board (no traces seem damaged :) Of course now it boots up in a weird state and non of the digital switches work (I'll install a new battery tomorrow and hopefully this will cure the problem) However before I cut the battery, I attempted to calibrate each voice. There are 8 trimmers for each of the 6 voices. I figures out that two are for pw, one is for cutoff freq, one is for voice volume and one for resonance depth but I am not sure of the other 3. Does andy one have info on this?
Also the cutoff could be set for all voices but once I assigned env or keytrack to cutoff, all of the voices went out of calibration!!! It drove me crazy because I could not find trimmers for these. It seems like the synth does not set up like a moog, roland or sci :( Any inside info on this synth?
btw I do like the SSM filter sound 2044's in this. Sort of thin and bright with a thick resonance hump when swept.
