Korg MS-20 Clones anyone?

Has anybody attempted to clone the Korg MS-20 VCO?  We seem to have more
or less just about every element of it cloned (the LFO, EG, and VCF) and
it seems only the VCO and VCA are left.  Personally I think a full clone
is the MS-20 would be wonderful.  They're going for $700-$900 these
days, way up there in the TB-303 price range.

I also was reading somewhere that the MS-20 had somewhat of a Unique
VCO, something about using a special kind of transistor or something,
but I could be wrong.  I reckon this would explain why it of all things
hasn't been cloned (either that, or if its flawed or something).

PS: Anybody have a service manual for an MS-20 and would be willing to
scan the schematics?
