Ajax is even a little bit agressive. I have heard that tartar control
toothpaste works too and is finer.
I myself use brasso, which is just fine silica and naptha mostly. I then
rinse it with water and a little bit of soap and use a sharpie type marker,
they tend to work pretty good.
