Many thanks - 909 stuff

Hi all,

First I'd just like to thank those of you who helped me with a few issues
regarding cloning the TR909 circuitry a short time ago. The help has been
most appreciated!

Just a few more things I'd like to know...

First, the majority of the NPN / PNP transistors in the analogue section are
2SC2603 and 2SA1115. Can anyone suggest more easily available substitutes
for these devices? I was wondering if it would be acceptable to use BC549's
/ BC559's (or 550, 560's and so on) in place of these transistors without
any further circuit modifications.

Also, is the 2SA798 easily available now? I recall someone on the list
asking about this device some time ago but I cannot remember what the
response was now. (I *might* be able to get hold of this device, I shall try
another company tomorrow. ) Again, is there a suitable equivalent?

Most of the diodes used in the circuitry are ISS133 devices. I am assuming
that any general purpose device should do; such as the '4148 or '914.
However, I've got a large quantity of diodes marked: CV3637. Can anyone tell
me more about these diodes? I know nothing about them. Are they basically
general purpose signal diodes, which I could use in the '909 project?

Again many thanks for your time!

Regards, Trev
