resistors: 5% vs 1% etc ?

Many places, Farnell and Maplin in the UK, sell 1% or 2% metal film for
such a cheap price, its worth getting these for all audio apps. I get 20
or 50 of each value I need each time I buy, to build up a nice stock to
dip into.
