Yeah, and the MEP4 didn't even have to do merging, just deal with one MIDI 
input.

It's still a cool box, though.  BTW, the MEP4 had four dedicated custom 
Yamaha "MIDI UART" chips (one for each output), so the 63B03 probably wasn't 
doing *all* of the work.
