Bizarre behaviour solved, anotehr reported..

My wife says its the "Legendary Matrix 6 Glitch"...

I think maybe the memory / battery is no good. I've replaced the lithium cell
in the matrix 6 (not R) with 2 AA batteries, and I use a Shottky diode (forward
drop .3V) in place of the silicon.

PS we don't have our M6 any more.... this is why !!
