This already exists: EARS, by Dr. Wolfgang Ahnert.  It is a post-processing
companion to EASE, the most popular of the acoustical modelling packages.
The room is described, EASE runs reflectograms, then exports this to EARS,
which creates a real acoustical image from this model.

There is another outfit, Crystal something (maybe River?), that is doing a
real-time version of this for use in video games.  Beyond simply panning
signals between speakers, they model the acoustics of a space and use this
to intensify the VR experience.

Last and least, Bose has some sort of simulator - I don't know if it works,
but like everything else in Bose world, marketing is far more important
than engineering, so it doesn't matter if it works or not.
