I have just had one of my best nights sense I joined DIY. This is
appropriate because my 2-year anniversary should be pretty
soon now. Thanks for everything guys! Anyway... I found a way
to move the hi-scale trimmer to the expo-converter and still 
use a 1k tc on the base of the diff-pair, I found a way to clean
up the vco3 (rogue/mg-1) ramp without using another voltage
regulator, I built the best damm expo-converter I've ever had,
I built the best heater I've ever had....I'm very happy!! You just
have to keep on plugging away at it don't you? I'm sorry I can't
post this cool stuff. Maybe sometime in the future you will be
able to buy a module or two that will explain what I'm so excited
about.
