Y-ellow Y'all.
This is one for the Australian contingent I guess. Anyone know where I can
buy some reasonably good headphones for my walkperson?

We're talking, real small, (_not_ ear bud types) 8 ohm dynamics with lots
of bottom end.

I've got these el-cheapo ones that came with some crappy 20 buck walk
person from Cunningham's about 7 years ago. They actually sound pretty
good compared to all the others I've tried recently. But after 7 years,
they've developed a bit of a rattle. All the ones I've tried in the last
week have been 32 ohm, very quiet, and have no bottom end. Even a 30 buck
pair I tried. I mean I'd expect that they wouldn't compete with my studio
cans but these things have no bottom end at all.

The other problem is that they have to be small otherwise I can't wear them
under my stack-hat. I can't wear those bud earphones because of my
surgically altered ear. I tried one of those so called "Sports" ear phone
things. They sat on my ears without causing me discomfort but they sounded
like one of those old crystal earpeices from 30 years ago. To say they were
dreadful is an understatement.

I don't really wanna pay any more than about 30 bux but I'd like something
with reasonable quality. (read bottom end) NE1 got any ideas? Or is it
fashionable for everything to sound like it's coming out of a crystal set
radio these days?

Thanks in advance.

be absolute Icebox.
