I believe that one The Old Crow <oldcrow at oldcrows.net> (don't know his real
name) is doing just that right at the moment. He is on both DIY and the DX7
list. I have tried contacting ages ago on another matter but his email
bounced. I do not know what the status of this project is but if he pops up
as a result of this then maybe you could ask.
