No need to buy old manuals--Antique Electronic
Supply
(www.tubesandmore.com) has reprints of the 1959
RCA
manual (order part # B-654 , essential for the
basics)
and the last GE tube manual (# B-377, the best
basic
data book ever printed for a broad range of tubes,
both common and exotic). Get both and you are
fixed for
90% of the receiving tubes you are likely to see.
Even in
Europe.........
